Hidden in the mountains behind the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australian writer and producer Dr. Brown, works in his home studio. Not yet visible on the widescreen of the mainstream music scene, he is working on developing his unique sound and breaking in to the heavily competitive music industry. From the age of 12, Nam’s creative journey has seen him evolve from house music to experimental rock and hip-hop. He continues to try and connect with his audience not only through his music but also through his artistic vision and personal philosophy.

Dr. Brown’s music combines a niche sound developed through years of experience in experimental music with a blend of popular music influences. The hybrid nature of Dr. Brown’s music contributes to his unique sound in a significant and very personal way, taking his audience on an exploration of sound completely new to the listener.
